It's been a year.
I had a kid.
I endured the insane first eleven months of postpartum.
I made a big career move.
I had to say goodbye to my dog, who was essentially my first child.
Pictured are the three books I read in 2024. Notice a theme? Yes, they're all cozy because at the end of the day I need a warm hug.
I'm also going to write a cozy fantasy series in 2025. I believe the genre holds so much quiet healing power that many of us need right now.

It's about time I posted about this!
I'll be gaining a human baby to join my book babies in Feb 2024!
Because of unforeseen complications, I've been on an unplanned hiatus. Lurking around here but not posting, as I haven't had the mental energy to do so.
On top of physical complications, my creativity has taken quite a hit. I have barely been able to think about writing and was in the worst reading slump for months.
But I am feeling much better now (and baby has been fine throughout all this). And I even started reading again!
Hopefully, the motivation and creative writer energy will return to me soon. I really want to make my next endeavor a cozy fantasy because the genre just soothes my soul 💜
